Carnival Choir

Have you ever wanted to be part of a pop-up choir? This year will see the first ever Carnival Choir formed! 800 singers will be given the opportunity to participate in this inaugural event, performing two almighty rock anthems on Sunday 22 September at the Heritage Bank Festival of Food & Wine. There will be one practice session prior to the event. This will take place on Wednesday 18 September at the Blank Space venue in Toowoomba. More details will be advised from the event production team closer to the date.

Included with your Carnival Choir registration is a limited edition Carnival Choir t-shirt.

FAQs

What is the refund policy?

If you change your mind or are unable to attend, please note you are more than welcome to give your ticket to someone else. Please email us at info@tcof.com.au to update the name, shirt size, ticket number etc of the new attendee. Please note: t-shirt size may have already been ordered so changes may not be possible.

Do I need to bring my printed ticket?

You can choose to either bring your printed ticket to the event or show your ticket or the QR code on your mobile device. This will be scanned upon entry. Please bring your Carnival Choir registration to the practice session on Wednesday 18th September.

Where do I meet?

The Festival is located in Upper Queens Park, on the corner of Margaret St and Lindsay St, Toowoomba. The main entrance is located on Margaret St. The practice session will be at Blank Space on Wednesday 18 September. The event production team will advise you where exactly to meet within the Heritage Bank Festival of Food & Wine for the actual performance on Sunday 22 September.

What are the parking options?

Limited parking is available around Queens Park on Margaret St, Lindsay St and Hume St. For a hassle-free weekend, take advantage of the Free Festival Shuttle bus on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd September. Simply park your car at Kearney Springs Sporting Ground or Picnic Point parking on Heller Street, jump on the bus and let someone else do the driving.

What can I bring into the Festival?

Outside food and drink is not permitted inside the Festival due to Food & Liquor Licensing laws. The following items are NOT permitted in the Festival: fireworks, illicit drugs, non-media accredited recording devices, laser lights, glow sticks, animals, any other illegal or dangerous items.

Attendees are more than welcome to bring their own chairs and picnic blankets into the Festival.
