5 September, Kristy Richardson

Toowoomba artist Kristy Richardson believes everyone can be creative, and anyone can be artistic with just a little help.  Known for her bold use of colour, Kristy’s trademark style is bright and fun!  Kristy’s business Kreate It offers painting workshops (groups, team building, one on one, private celebrations, online), as well as custom artwork, art supplies and more.

12 September, Mary-Kate Thomson

Local artist and designer Mary-Kate Thomson has worked in varied industries such as public art installations, print and web collateral, tv production design, art and drama teaching and more. Her involvement with Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers over many years has included “Avant Garden” installations, and Council float design and construction.  Mary-Kate is a keen advocate for the local arts industry through Arts Council Toowoomba, and she nurtures passion for the arts in children through her business ARTiculate Art and Drama Studio.

19 September, Alex Stalling

Alex Stalling has over a decade of experience in creative industries as a practicing artist, founding and managing artist run spaces, event and festival programming and community engagement. Working primarily in acrylic, watercolour and line work, Alex creates works that invoke happiness, referencing objects, organic representations, animals, nature and emotive motivations to create bold designs. Founder of creative studio Tinker she enjoys sharing her love of the arts with others through series of creative workshops.

26 September,  Stacey Blinco

Art has held Stacey Blinco’s attention for as long as she can remember, and she became serious about painting 12 years ago.  Stacey’s subjects, style and mediums vary – she has love of drawing and painting in acrylic, oil, watercolour or ink. If a composition catches her eye, she cannot help but capture it.  Stacey is a member of Artists of Crows Nest Inc. and regularly exhibits her work locally.
