Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers will once again showcase remarkable creativity and craftsmanship by hosting the prestigious FLORAL DESIGN COMPETITION, for the sixth year running.

The competition has developed into an eagerly anticipated event on Australia’s Floral Design calendar, as it consistently provides a premium platform for Floral Design to flourish and evolve.  2010 promises to continue this evolution, welcoming experienced floral devotees and supporting emerging talents.

The Competition will be staged and judged on Thursday 16 September in Toowoomba’s Queens Park – the heart of the city’s historic floral culture. Entries will then be displayed as part of the Ergon Energy Flower, Food & Wine Festival to be held 17 to 19 September 2010.

CONTRASTS will be the overall theme for the 2010 Competition.
