Always a popular attraction in the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers program, the Toowoomba Plaza Sideshow Alley promises fun, excitement and hair-raising action aplenty.

Held in Lower Queens Park, the Toowoomba Plaza Sideshow Alley atmosphere will be abuzz with the latest rides, show bags and live entertainment on offer. Test your nerves on some wild rides, enjoy a bird’s eye view of the park from the giant Ferris Wheel or try your hand at one of the many games of skill. The more courageous can take part in the Skatefest 2010 Competitions  Skatefest Flyer (254.73 kB) while those a little less adventurous might like to wander the sideshow stalls and take in the live entertainment.

In true carnival style, The Space Cowboy will perform throughout the weekend at the Toowoomba Plaza Sideshow Alley. Wowing audiences with his stylish stunts and cringe-worthy freak show feats – this well-known Australian performer promises to be one act not to be missed! Be warned though, his entertainment style is not for the faint-hearted…

Kids will delight in the free children’s entertainment, bubble blowing and balloon art, while the puppet show will undoubtedly pull a few strings and giggles.

The Toowoomba Plaza Sideshow Alley is synonymous with the sweet stuff too so if you are feeling hungry, be sure to indulge in some fairy floss, ice cream, hotdogs or other delicious treats!

There is no better way to finish a colourful evening than with the dazzle of fireworks! Spread out your rug and settle under the star-lit sky as the free fireworks displays commence from 7pm on Friday 17 and Sunday 19 September.

Return again to Frogs Hollow on Sunday 26 September for Pictures in the Park when the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers celebrations close in appropriate bright style with a final evening of fireworks. See Pictures in the Park event details for further information.
